On 9th May, School of advanced TAB Cartier unveiled the 21st design contest winners.
Champion - Dion Ehrat, from Liechtenstein Perret AG. Butterfly wings for the day, and the folding of the wings for night, to give the cultural interpretation of the day and night display.
Runner-up - Joël Baldegger, from the Schaffhausen iwc. It respectively set the day and moth model on the top of the armed lever to show the day and night, which highly technical content.
Third winner in contest - Martin Kloos, from Jaeger-LeCoultre. It is using a color contrast, and the very low-key elegant design.
No.4 - Florian Meichtry, from Swiss Zeit Zentrum. The day and night sky description with unique design, matching with independent second hand display.
There are 85 pieces of effective design works from all watchmaking schools, which are for the luxury watches and movement manufacturer's apprentice, and some private workshops and so on. The jury is composed of five independent experts, on the basis of the standard of creativity, tidy surface, finish quality, movement function to select 50 pieces of winning entries.
No.5 - Jérémie Kneuss, from Cartier La Chaux de Fonds Workshop. Eccentric type global view, semi-transparent smoke crystal plate and the unique engraved words.
No.6 - Tamara Bucher, from the Schaffhausen iwc. To draw inspiration from the natural, full of artistic breath of unique interpretation.
No.7 - Loris Spitzer, from the Schaffhausen iwc. Black and white of a half respectively, the rotating tellurion, with three dimensional way to display day and night.
No.8 - Grégoire Droplet from Swiss Ecole Technique de la Vallée de Joux. The appearance of the technical, the design is inspired by traditional watchmakers magnifying glass.
Dion Ehrat with art butterfly design won the favor the jury in the design competition and won the championship. Powerful and unconstrained style originality, low-key elegant design, as well as special knowledge of art and technology, it has described the bright future of the Swiss movement design of the replica swiss watches.
