I picked the Audemars Piguet because of the reputation for high quality and great accuracy. I've got both Pro-Trek and Luminox watches, and this Audemars Piguet just seems to be built tougher. It's easy to see, I love the face. (Posted on 9/17/15)

However, after it promptly arrived with all documentation, clearly brand new and exactly as represented, I was impressed! For the past few years my "everyday" watch was a Seiko chronograph. While there is nothing wrong with it, I decided I wanted something with a little more style. Initially, I bought a Seiko Coutura, but returned it disappointed. I decided to spend a little more, but since I'm not a watch collector, I think $1,000 was about as much as I wanted to spend for a utility watch, though $500 would have probably been more practical (I guess it depends on where one draws the line between utility and luxury).

Finally I made my decision on this stunning Audemars Piguet. It is perfect for me, stylish looking, perfect time and durable! I cannot be happier! No regrets. (Posted on 7/2/15)

I am rather opinionated when it comes to luxury watches. This comes from spending 2 years in watchmaking school, studying directly under the guidance of a certified master swiss watchmaker who came here from Europe. Watches, especially mid to high grade swiss watches, are a passion of mine. I am not loyal to a brand or a style or anything else. I judge them for what they are, in terms of quality, function, construction, and style. A watchmakers point of view.
